Waiting on Wednesday (8): Desires of the Dead

The missing dead call to Violet. They want to be found.

When Violet Ambrose's morbid ability to sense the echoes of those who've been murdered leads her to the body of a young boy, she draws the attention of the FBI. She is reluctantly pulled into an investigation that will endanger more than just her secret... but her relationship and possibly her life as well.

Why I'm waiting on Desires of the Dead:

Okay really, do I need to explain? :P Anyone who knows me knows that one of my favorite reads of 2010 was The Body Finder. I gush about The Body Finder like a lunatic. I stalk Kimberly Derting like a creeper. Do I need to explain even more? xD Well, okay... There was so much promise in Violet and Jay's relationship. While I thought The Body Finder would have been a great standalone, I have to admit that I'm dying to see what Kimberly whips up for them next. Kimberly is such a lovely writer and can keep you guessing. And wtf is it Feb. 15 yet? But no, really, I have some high (not too high, but high!) expectations of DotD. :)

Yay! I just finished The Body Finder yesterday (finally!) and loved it, so I'm really looking forward to this one now:) Not too much longer to wait either!

You know I still haven't read the first one... and I have had it on my bookshelf for like 8 months. I really need to get on it. Great pick, I know there suppose to be really good!

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog, I think faeries are awesome! You asked what faerie books I've read, and here they are:
Wondrous Strange/Darklight by Lesley Livingston (Can't wait to read Tempestuous, but it's out of stock ]= )
Wicked Lovely/Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr, didn't enjoy them much, but thinking about re reading them...
The Iron King/The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa, they're awesome!
Bitter Frost by Kailin Gow, even though I had a problem with the main character, it was still good and I think you should try it. =]
Paranormalcy has faeries in it, and that was awesome too... :L
And lastly, I've also read Glimmerglass, which was really good too.

I've read lots. And I think most of them are awesome, as you can probably tell... :L Sorry to blabber on =] You?

Oh man! I've been dying to read "The Body Finder" since forever. I need to get my act together and pick myself up a copy at Borders next time I go. (Which should be soon since XVI COMES OUT TOMORROW! *cough*)

I absolutely adore the covers to these books, too, which is what first drew me to investigate it. :)
