Christmas Guest Post at Books are Dreams & a Merry Christmas to all!

Hello all! I hope you are all having wonderful holidays! I sure know that I am.

Today, I'm guest posting at Katie's blog, Books are Dreams. It's my first guest post, so I'm soopah excited about it. Not only that, but it's about Christmas! To be honest, I used to be a real downer during the holiday season. I despised it and everything about it. My friends and family joked that I was Scrooge. Want to know why? Well, you'll just have to find out at Katie's blog!

And if that alone doesn't want to make you head over, there is a special youtube clip (made by yours truly) that I share in the middle of the post! I promise that it'll be worthwhile. ♥ I personally love replaying it over and over again, even if it took place years ago.

On top of that, Katie's Holiday celebration is still going on (until tomorrow, at least). There are still ongoing giveaways and lots of cheerful Christmas posts, so go check it out!

Edit: I'm going to tack on my "Merry Christmas" on here, since it seems a bit redundant to have two separate posts for it.

Merry Christmas, everyone! :) Maligayang Pasko sa inyong lahat!

I hope you're all enjoying some good time with the family, or having fun opening presents (or watching presents be opened), and just enjoying this day, overall!

Family is truly what makes my Christmas special. We can really grind each others' gears all the other 364 days in the year, but Christmas is where we put aside our differences and truly appreciate each other and enjoy each others' company.

What makes your guys' Christmas special? :)

Excellent, EXCELLENT post! Thanks for reminding me what Christmas can be. I'm still kind of Scrooging it, but the holidays are hard for me. I miss how Christmas was when I was younger with all the happy spirits around. Now, being married, and having a husband who doesn't celebrate at all and with my kids, it's very hard.

Really though, thanks for your post. You rock!

I actually own both Love Actually and The Holiday. I'm also in love with Jude Law, it's not really a big deal...we will run away together soon *wink wink*. No, but really, I love both those movies. My all time favorite part of Love Actually is when Hugh Grant aka the Prim Minister, dances all around his house to the music from the radio. Classic I tell ya, classic. Oh, but I do love the porno stand ins because their conversations are hilariously normal for being butt naked. LOL! (also, I left you a reply to your other question on my blog)

Jen: Thank you so much, Jen! Seeing that you were the first comment to that post really made me happy (you know why). Us Scrooges (and former Scrooges) need to stick together and help each other out! Wait wait, don't stop reading - I was lazy so I have another comment for you below everyone elses! :)

Nina: Thanks! :D It was such a fun guest post! ♥ HI ARGH!

Namine: Thank you Namine! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Marie: Thank youuu! I had a lot of fun writing it. Probably because I wasn't so stressed since it wasn't going on MY blog, haha. I'm so lazy during Christmas. :P I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

BLHmistress: Thank you! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Melissa: I hope you had an absolutely wonderful Christmas, as well! (I'm still shocked that you don't say "Happy Christmas"!)

Mia: Thank you! Merry Christmas to you as well! And yeah, I'm half filipina, half white! :) I know, no one can really tell unless I tell them. xP

Kai: It's okay! I'm horrible at replying! Maligayang pasko!! :) I actually had to ask my mom for help on the "sa inyong lahat" part - I was just going to say "Maligayang Pasko lahat!" LOL.

Jen (again, haha): OMG I LOVE JUDE LAW >_<!!! He's probably why I love The Holiday so much. So much on-screen eye candy. ♥ I could tell you about my favorite parts of Love Actually (which include the cue cards, and running through the airport), but I'm sure I'll leave a humongous essay and no one is going to want to read that so... xD I watched Love Actually on Christmas eve and it was soooo great/fitting. ♥

What a wonderful guest post, Krissy-kins. (It actually brought tears to my eyes.) I totally know what you mean about Disney igniting the passion and love in your heart for everything again (including the holidays). Its hard not to be happy there, especially when they start making fake snow. They do that in DW too. This year I saw a little girl get on the ground and begin to make a snow angel with her mom because she had never seen snow before. The whole thing was magic, pure and simple. I'm glad the experience helped you like Christmas again. *hugs*

Oh, and I always watch Love Actually around the holidays! If there is any movie that can lift my spirits, its that one. :3
