In My Mailbox (1)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren with inspiration from Alea of Pop Culture Junkie.

The idea of IMM is to encourage blogger interaction and expose books to our readers’ attention. IMM is a great way to spread the word of certain books that many readers may not have heard of. You aren’t limited to books that you’ve received via mail, but can also include books you’ve bought or gotten at the library.

This is my very first In My Mailbox, so I’m excited! I was going to do it sooner, but I don’t get books often. I figured I’d lump a months’ worth of books in one. :P Also, most of my IMM’s will probably consist of what I get from the library. You can’t get me out of there enough! :P

Aurelie: A Faerie Tale by Heather Tomlinson
Need by Carrie Jones
Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater
Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler
Graceling by Kristin Cashore
The Maze Runner by James Dashner
Claire de Lune by Christine Johnson

Adversary by Kate Kaynak [Won from Kate at Disgruntled Bear]
Signed copy of Whisper by Phoebe Kitanidis [Won from Mary at Sparkling Reviews]
Sapphique by Catherine Fisher [Won from Chelle at The Prairie Library]
The Incredible Origins of the Onyx Sun by Christopher Mahoney [Won from a Goodreads Giveaway]

Abraham Lincoln by George McGovern

**I'm really excited about my haul! I can't wait to read all of them! I'm already behind on reviews, but I will get these books read and reviewed. :D A HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to Kate, Mary, Chelle, and Christopher for the opportunity to win at their giveaways. :)

ALSO! I have three reviews all typed up and rearin' to go, including Vampire Academy, Need, and The Hunger Games. But I'm stubborn and refuse to post them until a new September Challenge post (even if I can just read another book for it; I'm just stuuuborn). So expect these reviews, and new ones, sometime soon! :)

Fellow bloggers, what did YOU get in your mailbox? :)

You've got some great books in there! I'm totally psyched that libraries are having larger and larger YA sections! It's great for those of us who don't want to go broke because of our insane reading habits :)

Thanks guys! I had to fight teenagers for some of the books :P

Hayley, I know! My library recently revamped their interior and made a huge (well, compared to before) selection of YA novels! The only problem now is "fighting" people for the books. :P

Thanks Kelly! <3
