In My Mailbox (9)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren with inspiration from Alea of Pop Culture Junkie.

The idea of IMM is to encourage blogger interaction and expose books to our readers' attention. You aren't limited to books that you've received via mail; you can also include books you've bought or checked out at the library.

Finals are over finally! I feel so free! I have a LOT of reading to catch up on. Thank you everyone for being patient with me. ♥ My IMM this week is actually worth two weeks of books, since I didn't have a chance to post last Sunday.

For Review:

Homecoming by Sue Ann Bowling
The Girl Who Ran with Horses by David Michael
Fire Island by John J. Stevens
Outside Wonderland by Lorna Jane Cook
Secondhand Charm by Julie Berry
Low Red Moon by Ivy Devlin
Entice by Carrie Jones
Clarity by Kim Harrington
Solid by Shelley Workinger

From Giveaways:

Heavenly by Jennifer Laurens
Across the Universe by Beth Revis
Chocolate Roses by Joan Sowards
The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman
The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman
iDrakula by Bekka Black

Bought:

Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead

From ARC Tours:

Blood and Flowers by Penny Blubaugh

Also, my freind Emi asked me where I put all of my books, since I don't have a bookcase. I figured I'd just show her (and you guys). This is what bookcaselessness looks like: (and no, those aren't the only books I own)

I pile those suckers up like crazy. Crazy fire hazard, but it gets the job of not having a bookcase done. I have tons of piles all over the floor. It looks nuts. :P

So what did you all get in your mailbox this week? ♥

Also, don't forget to check out my interview and giveaway with Julian Vaughan Hampton! Ends 12/29!

Ah, the Golden Compass! (Or Northern Lights as it is here). Have you read it before? If not, I hope you enjoy it as it's one of my all-time faves.

And I'm glad finals are over. I've not been a student for about 18 months now, but I can still remember the stress.

This week I got 2 signed copies of Last Sacrifice, one signed of Succubus on Top, and then a slew of books for gifts, WOO HOO! Last Sacrifice rocks.

And...*clears throat*...I totally get the piles! I have no bookcase, so I'm forced to super tall piles of crazy bookness. But, mine is on top of my top shelf in the closet so my girlies won't grab them down. Plus, and here is the kicker, I have to flip all the titles to face the wall so Hubby doesn't pay too much attention to what I'm reading. LOL! Ooops, poor man.

Great haul this week! *stares at the pile of books* Hm, that looks painfully familiar. *looks at her own desk* Oh, we're the same! :D

Hahaha, girl! You really need a bookshelf! :) I definitely have a few piles like that around my room too, though.

So many books....too many books...*head explodes* How you keep up with reading all of those I'll never know. xD

You really do need to get a bookshelf. Like, a floor-to-ceiling one! My floor used to look like your dresser, but I took the time today to organize my shelves and make room for everything. The whole project took a better part of my evening, but LE GASP, I HAVE A RUG AGAIN. O_O I should try to take some pictures of my shelves to show you. It really is quite amazing. At least, to me it is. xD No more tripping over stacks!

You know I'm still sad over Clarity. Haha. Darn, you have A SUPER AWESOME HAUL THIS WEEK! mine doesn't even begin to compare with what you got! I'll buy you a bookcase if I can, you seriously need one. LOL! Mine's a hopeless case too. I just turned my closet's bottom drawer into my temporary bookcase just so I have a place to put all the books I'm getting.

HAPPY READING~!!!! *attacks*
