Waiting on Wednesday (7)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week I'm waiting on:

The Lost Saint by Bree Despain
Releases December 28, 2010

Grace Divine made the ultimate sacrifice to cure Daniel Kalbi. She was infected with the werewolf curse while trying to save him, and lost her beloved brother in the process.

Desperate to find Jude, Grace befriends Talbot, a newcomer to town. But as the two grow closer, Grace's relationship with Daniel is put in danger - in more ways than one.

Unaware of the dark path she is walking, Grace begins to give into the wolf inside of her - not realizing that an enemy has returned and a deadly trap is about to be sprung.

Why I'm waiting on The Lost Saint:

Are you kidding me? I absolutely loved The Dark Divine (even though I didn't think I would have when I started it). The ending of The Dark Divine just simply left me wanting more, and to see what in the world happens with Grace. The appearance of what seems like a dangerous love-triangle isn't too appealing, but I'll make due if The Lost Saint was anything near as great as The Dark Divine was. also, that cover! I like it SO much better than The Dark Divine's! (Plus, blue is my one of my favorite colors, if you couldn't tell :P)

What are YOU waiting on this Wednesday? :)

I need to read the first one in the series, and if you loved it, I have a feeling I'll be a fan as well! I have to say I like this cover better as well, and I much prefer the blue to the purple:) Fabulous choice Kristina!

Hi Kristina *waves*! I can't wait for this one either. Bree actually lives in my state and she's having her release party near me, so I get to go! Excitement.

Definitely haven't even gotten around to deciding whether I want to read the first book yet >.<

I've never taken part in WoW because I think my answers would be the same every week heh (Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss)

High praise indeed, I'm glad you enjoyed this book as I've read a lot of mixed reviews about it - mostly good but some terrible.
