In My Mailbox (8)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren with inspiration from Alea of Pop Culture Junkie.

The idea of IMM is to encourage blogger interaction and expose books to our readers' attention. You aren't limited to books that you've received via mail; you can also include books you've bought or checked out at the library.

I skipped last week's IMM because I was busy with school, so my booty this week covers the past two weeks. :)

Thanks for following! You for a great haul the past 2 weeks! I watched a movie a while ago called The Hangman's Curse. Leighton Meester from Gossip Girl is in it, its about 4 or 5 years before her Gossip Girl days though.

Wow, how you have time for all those, I'll never know. I got three this week and I only finished the first chapter of all of them. I give a book 25 pages-- if it doesn't grab my attention within that time, I don't continue reading. I'm sure I've missed a few good books, but I really don't want to waste time with books that bore me.

Last time I read a really good book (it was about a week 1/2 ago-- I couldn't put it down and I literally had to force myself to go to sleep. That's the kind of reading that I love-- something so great that even though I'm exhausted, I still want to keep reading.

Oh you lucky girl, you. Look at all of those books! I'm starting to wonder where you keep all of them in your house since you don't have a bookshelf. xD

I'm really curious to hear how you like the Skeleton Creek books. I always see them in the bookstore and they always my eye, but I don't know much about them other than they look cool. =O

I'm glad you got the book and that it arrived in such great condition. Seems I always end up with the jacket ruined in some way on books I order.
